We’re incredibly proud to share that George Bennett, our Residential Property Manager, has been shortlisted as a finalist for Young Property Person of the Year at the South Coast Property Awards 2026.
This recognition is a testament to George’s hard work, commitment, and the remarkable progress he has made since joining Mava in 2022.
George began his journey with us as a Property Management Administrator, where he quickly stood out for his dedication, attention to detail, and ability to deliver results in a fast-paced environment. His drive to grow within the industry led him to complete his professional qualifications, achieving MARLA accreditation and becoming a member of Propertymark, an accomplishment that reflects both his knowledge and professionalism.
In 2023, George’s efforts were recognised with a well-deserved promotion to Property Manager. Since then, he has played a key role across all areas of residential lettings and property management. His responsibilities span conducting property viewings, negotiating deals, overseeing inspections, managing tenant relationships, handling block management, and preparing detailed inventories. His well-rounded expertise and proactive approach have made him an invaluable member of the team.
George’s ambition doesn’t stop there. He is currently expanding his skill set even further by studying to become our Block Manager, demonstrating his ongoing commitment to personal and professional development.
Being shortlisted for this award is a fantastic achievement and highlights the impact George has made in a relatively short time. We are thrilled to see his hard work recognised on such a prestigious platform and couldn’t be prouder to have him as part of the Mava team.
